After managing the City’s Wastewater Treatment System for fifteen years, the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority purchased the wastewater treatment system from the City in October of 2004, and began operating all aspects of the treatment system. The wastewater treatment system currently consists of the upgraded Dornick Point Wastewater Treatment Plant and the interceptor lines located within the City of Johnstown and West Taylor Township.

    • Property owners are now required to have sewer treatment service in their name. If a tenant moves please contact the Greater Johnstown Water Authority office within 5 days.
    • Reduced Rate for vacant structure applications are now being accepted. Please contact the Johnstown Redevelopment Authority for more information at: 814-535-6564 or click HERE to view/download this document. Resolution No. 4276, which was adopted on November 15, 2016, defines the guidelines for qualifying for the reduced rate for vacant structure.
